World Cup Porridge!

There is a massive footy tournament about to hit all of the planet, it will take place in 3 nations, yes three! The USA, Mexico, and Canada, but I guess you all knew that anyway, so why am I writing this blog? Answers below (I bet you can't wait can you):

Well first of all the whole circus is a massive farce and FIFA are making even more millions and millions because what have the buttholes done? Made entry prices so expensive only Brad Pitt can afford, but he doesn't like the beautiful game anyway! 'Normal' footy fans (not the fake US version called Football too, they call the real one Soccer, puke!) are being charged extortionate prices to sing their national hymns and then watch as their beloved nations get stuffed by France, Spain, Argentina, Germany, Brazil ,even England might stand a chance of winning ( No way and I hope never!).

Who the hell are Curacao, Haiti, Cape Verdi, and other minnows participating? (Where's Gibraltar? Eleven of their rock monkeys would stand the same chance as that lot), with all respect of course. Now FIFA (Corrupt mob; where there are big bucks to be earned it always stinks and FIFA love it!) in their wisdom decided to extend the World Cup to 32 participating nations; what the F and Why?

Answer: To sell even more TV rights and advertising to these far out reaches of the footy world of course! All of Curacao will be glued to their pay-tv-stations (the other minnows populations too) waving their flags, singing their hymns, praying to their gods, crying in their beers after being stuffed by Germany, Spain, France, or whoever, while FIFA, in their corruptive wisdom cash even more money from global TV and advertising (Who the fuck are Coca Cola? Oh yes that healthy sport drink prevalent at such enormous sporting events!)

Once upon a time the World Cup only had the top 16 nations participating before the days of social media, global TV, global advertising revenue, etc. They were REAL meaningful tournaments. Yes, maybe you are right, all nations on the planet should have the right to fight a meaningless fight once every four years, but please do me favour FIFA, create a special World Cup for the no-hopers and leave the 'real thing' to those nations who might have a 'real' chance of winning the damn thing! (Jaggedone, you are really an elitist pratt, but I do not give a fuck, I only want to see 'real' football, not a visit to the Rome Coliseum to watch Nero put his thumb down!)

Believe me, after we've been through the 'slaughter' of the group phase, the minnows and their even poorer fans after paying $1000's to go to see David v Goliath (I give you a guarantee David will not win one of these contests), watch their beloved nations being put to the sword, with no mercy, and afterwards hanging their flags at half-mast, they will go back home asking "what the hell was that all about?, But who cares, as long as FIFA and their mafia mob cream off even more revenue, fly in their private jets all around the globe preaching footy brings equality, (Bullshit) and are ferried in their huge limos from one 6 star hotel to another, the farcical show will go on (The Eurovision Song Contest comes to mind)!

So, will I be watching from the comfort of my soft TV chair? Yes, because I am bored to tears and have to wait until July when the love of my footy life, Manchester United, resume their efforts to conquer the world once again, and I really do not give a fuck who wins this farcical tournament (And I pay my Sky-Sports contract too!). Yes I am English, but my St George flag was burnt long ago, guess why?

May the best team win, but as far as I am concerned, FIFA can poke their tournament up their gold-plated rear ends, continue to rip-off fanatic footy fans until the next circus arrives and, maybe 64 teams will be allowed to participate, the more the merrier! (Think about the $ millions FIFA would earn then, LMBO)

In 2010 it was bad enough, now in 2026 it's even more flabbergasting how FIFA get away with it!
