SUFFERING or not SUFFERING

The adjective, SUFFERING, has been misused recently by prominent people in the football/soccer world attempting to explain 'pain' after losses on the football pitch. One prominent football manager, Rubin Amorim, from my club, Manchester United, often uses this word during his global press conferences to explain how he, and his over-paid, multi-millionaire players, feel after 'blowing' yet another match!
His (and other substantially paid soccer managers + players) narrative and disappointment are acceptable, but to keep on using the adjective, SUFFERING, is totally absurd, incorrect, and should be put into context, which I will do with this blog!
"TO SUFFER" is a verb pertaining to misery, wretchedness, poverty, illness, homeless refugees, collateral damage caused by pure aggression, innocent lives injured, or lost in nonsensical wars, and the feelings of families and loved ones; but certainly not losing a 'meaningless' football match!
Our modern, social-media driven world accepts this 'garbage' spewing out of privileged, millionaire's mouths living in their opulent, wealthy bubbles, and the public who follow them feel so damn sorry for their "SUFFERING". Corrupt politicians, Royalty, Film Stars, Rock/Pop Star, Sports Stars churning out their misery and "SUFFERING" knowing their millions of followers will show empathy and sympathy while real "SUFFERING" continues outside of their tiny 'affluent bubbles' all over the planet.
I know now what real "SUFFERING" is, and believe me there are millions and millions much worse off than I have been (still am) after being diagnosed with cancer. The operations were bad enough, and then the recovery through radiation, when the 'shit really hits the fan!' My cancer is curable, other cancer patients "SUFFER" and lose their lives, especially children "SUFFERING from the dreaded "C", but they do not have a global platform, or press conference, to tell the world about real "SUFFERING!" Only the rich and famous have that privilege!
Dear Mr Amorim please stop using the word "SUFFERING", it is a nonsensical description of what your elite players, and yourself, are experiencing! It is not "SUFFERING" they are only momentarily disappointments. You are Portuguese, and we English speaking United fans, might understand what you are attempting to convey to your millions of global fans, however, your usage of the word, "SUFFERING" is totally out of context with reality, and you must cease using this word to explain how 'disappointed' you are in losing an inconsequential football match compared to "REAL GLOBAL SUFFERING:"
